Shortfundly Connect eligibility
Requirements to use Shortfundly Connect based on the Terms of Use and product onboarding.
What age do I need to use Connect?
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter a legally binding agreement.
How do I sign in?
Authenticated Connect features require signing in with Google. Connect does not currently offer a separate email-and-password sign-in provider in the application.
Onboarding requirements
- Username (required): 3–30 characters; letters, numbers, dots, and underscores
- Bio (required): up to 280 characters
- User type (required): Film fan, Creator, Festivals, Student, Industry, Other
- Referral source (required)
- Platform interests (required): Select at least one interest
- Location: Some location steps may be skipped during onboarding.
Are there geographic restrictions?
Geographic service restrictions for Connect are not currently specified on the public Connect pages.

Avatars are optional. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP. Maximum size: 2 MB.
