Refund & Cancellation Policy

Bookings, subscriptions, adjustments, and timelines

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid features and transactions on connect.shortfundly.com (“Shortfundly Connect”), including subscriptions, featured listings, boosts, verification services, messaging credits, and booking-related fees. By purchasing on Connect, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

Scope

Shortfundly Connect provides digital services only. Deliveries occur via account access, feature enablement, placement/visibility upgrades, credits, and booking workflows. No physical goods are shipped.

Plans, Trials & Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions (e.g., Pro tiers) renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Trials (if offered) convert to paid plans at trial end unless cancelled in time; post-conversion charges are generally non-refundable.
  • Credits & boosts (e.g., message packs, listing boosts) are consumed upon use and are typically non-refundable once delivered or used.

Cancellations (Self-Serve)

  • Cancel any subscription anytime from your account settings. Access generally continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Cancellation becomes effective at the next renewal; you won’t be charged again if you cancelled on time.
  • Add-ons (featured placement, boosts) end at expiry; removing them mid-term does not usually trigger a refund.

Listings, Bookings & No-Shows

  • Featured/boosted listings are delivered instantly or within the scheduled window; once live, they’re non-refundable.
  • Booking fees (if applicable in your region/workflow) may be refundable only if the poster cancels before a specified cutoff noted at checkout or in the booking confirmation.
  • No-shows or failure to provide accurate information/assets typically void refund eligibility. We may pause accounts for repeated abuses.

Verification & Review Services

Identity/credit verification and manual review services begin after submission. Because labor and third-party checks may start immediately, fees are generally non-refundable once processing has begun, even if the outcome is unsuccessful or delayed due to missing/invalid documents.

Refund Eligibility

  • Eligible (typical): duplicate charges, accidental multiple payments, verifiable payment gateway errors, renewal billed after a timely cancellation with proof.
  • Partially eligible (case-by-case): first-time renewal within 48 hours with no material usage during the new cycle; sustained platform outage rendering core Connect features unusable (see Service Issues).
  • Not eligible: consumed credits, used boosts, live/elapsed featured placements, completed verification attempts, remaining time in a billing period after cancellation, custom setup/concierge fees, promotional discounts.

Service Issues & Downtime

If a significant outage prevents normal use for a material portion of your billing period, contact support. At our discretion, we may offer a credit or partial refund for the affected period. This is your exclusive remedy for service interruptions unless required by law.

Proration & Plan Changes

  • Upgrades may be charged pro-rata immediately; the renewal date may change or stay the same depending on billing mechanics.
  • Downgrades take effect at next renewal; we generally don’t refund the unused time on a higher plan.

Disputes Between Users

Connect facilitates discovery and bookings but is not a party to user-to-user agreements. Payment disputes for off-platform engagements are outside our remit. If a payment ran through our on-platform flow, open a ticket with evidence; we’ll review for policy violations and advise on next steps. Outcomes may include credits, partial refunds, or no action, depending on facts and eligibility.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@shortfundly.com with: (1) your Connect account email, (2) invoice/transaction ID, (3) detailed reason and any evidence (e.g., cancellation timestamp, error screenshots, outage description). We’ll confirm eligibility and next steps.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are typically initiated within 7–10 business days. Posting times depend on your bank or payment provider. Non-cash credits may be applied faster to your account.

Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback without contacting us may trigger a temporary account pause during investigation. Successful chargebacks can result in account closure to prevent further disputes.

Taxes, Invoices & Currencies

Taxes are calculated at checkout where applicable. Refunds (when granted) are processed to the original payment method and currency, subject to FX differences and payment-processor rules.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes apply going forward. Continued use of Shortfundly Connect after updates constitutes acceptance.
